PUPIL PREMIUM

Pupil Premium is a government initiative that provides schools with additional funding (about £l,385 per year for six years) for every child who has been able to prove they qualify for it.

The funding is targeted at students who are from households where families are claiming or could claim Free School Meals, families who have a parent/carer in the armed forces or children who have been adopted or are in care.

The Academy is responsible for making sure that the money for that child is being spent to improve their education. Our Academies have used this in many different ways in the past couple of years to help the learning of all the children who receive this funding.

If you are not sure whether your child is eligible for Free School Meals or you would like more information about how you should go about claiming an entitlement, please contact the Academy office or click on the Free School Meals link below.

You can read more about the impact of Pupil Premium money in the impact statement and learn more of our plans for next year.
